Tangerine essential oil may be beneficial in the treatment of stretch marks.
Try blending 2 drops of Tangerine with 1 drop of Lavender, 1 drop of Mandarin and 1 drop of Neroli to 10ml of Sweet Almond Oil and 2mls Wheatgerm Oil or Rosehip Seed Oil. This makes a lovely and effective massage oil which may be used daily. You can also combine it with a base preparation such as a cream or lotion for similar results.
Or why not try a few drops in a bath for a relaxing soak at bedtime (even nicer when combined with with Neroli).
You can also burn or vaporise it – Tangerine can soothe the nervous system and reduce stress. It may also provide a boost to the digestive system.
Tangerine has a gentle action – it’s nice for helping to relax children and is always good to have in the house in case of tantrums or for when the kids get over-excited!
